If you have registered as a resident of Tallinn since personalising your Public Transport Card, you will have to personalise it again in order to obtain the right to free travel.

  • a severely or moderately disabled person aged 19 or older, who is not a resident of Tallinn

Outside Tallinn, to add a discount due to disability or incapacity for work to the Public Transport Card,
please contact the local public transport authority or municipality.



Public Transport Card (Ühiskaart) is an electronic contactless card with logo „Ühiskaart“. If you have a Ühiskaart, you can:

  • identify traveling right in a public vehicle,
  • use a travel fare, valid with an identity Document,
  • load e-tickets to the card,
  • buy tickets for the money loaded on the card,
  • use „Park and Ride“ Parking.

You can purchase the Ühiskaart from any of the sales points and Omniva web-shop for 2€.

The following cards can be used as proof of the right to use public transport:
Ühiskaart of Tallinn and Harjumaa, Ühiskaart of Atko, Ühiskaart of GoBus, Ühiskaart of Ridango, Ühiskaart of Tartu, Ühiskaart of Pärnumaa, Ühiskaart of Viljandi, Ühiskaart of Estonian Transport Administration


Travelcards are inter-usable in Estonia and in intercity lines regardless of the place of purchase.

Personalizing enables the person to make use of any discounts to which they are entitled. Personalizing a card also ensures that the money and tickets that have been loaded onto it are not are not lost and can be transferred to a new card if the current one is misplaced.

The majority of travel discounts are registered on cards automatically by checking whether the card holder is listed in the student or pensioner registers.
